The Mission of Amigos de Siqueiros is to partner with the City of Los Angeles to protect, conserve and promote América Tropical and create a venue to showcase the internationally renowned Mexican artist, David Alfaro Siqueiros.

Amigos de Siqueiros is dedicated to securing financial support from public and private partners in its quest to provide for the long-term stewardship of The America Tropical Interpretive Center. Amigos aims to deliver and sustain a state-of-the-art Interpretive Center and maintain public access to the mural through the following goals:

• Establish The America Tropical Interpretive Center as a focal point for international cultural tourism;
• Provide for the multi-media exhibitions and public programming of The America Tropical Interpretive Center;
• Create a research and resource facility that will support public educational programming and collaborations that will attract students and academics;
• Foster the historic, cultural collaboration with other stakeholders of El Pueblo Historic Monument; and
• Sustain a long term Memorandum of Agreement with the City of Los Angeles.
